As one who enjoyed the irreverence that a 2 AM timeslot affords, the old "Red Eye" show was a delight. Even so, there was relative decorum then vs. today's "Gutfeld!" show. In fact, I have taken the latter off my DVR schedule. Greg Gutfeld's infatuation with bathroom / gutter / Howard Stern "humor" has made it unwatchable for me going forward.
I don't mind a little spice. Indeed, Kennedy's saucy wit is a not-all-that-guilty pleasure. But she also brings a lot of intellect, backed up by "research!" to Tyrus's chagrin.
So, for now I'll be seeing clips on YouTube, enough to see if anything changes. And watch a few episodes of "The Five."
